Red Net News March 10th(Correspondent Tian Youye) On March 8th, the promotion meeting of the pilot area for large-scale application of "Artificial Intelligence Course in Central Library" and the summary meeting of the results of "Educational Social Experiment under the Condition of Artificial Intelligence in Hunan Province" hosted by Hunan Intelligent Classroom and Education Big Data Research and Development Center were held in Tianhua Primary School in Shazitang, Yuhua District, Changsha City.
Huang Xuguang, director of the subject education department of primary and secondary schools in the Education Technology and Resources Development Center of the Ministry of Education, and Sun Mo, deputy head of the artificial intelligence education working group of primary and secondary schools in the Central Audio-visual Education Center, attended the meeting. Among them, leaders of Hunan Audio-visual Education Center, Hunan Intelligent Classroom and Education Big Data Research and Development Center, Hunan Computer Society, Hunan Computer Society Basic Education Professional Committee, Changsha Yuhua District Education Bureau, Hunan University of Science and Technology and other 44 first batch educational social experimental units in Hunan Province and typical case schools in Yuhua District of Changsha attended the meeting.
The meeting was hosted by Hu Chao, deputy director of Big Data Research Institute of Central South University and Hunan Intelligent Classroom and Education Big Data Research and Development Center.
Zhang Xinwei, secretary of the Party Committee and director of the Education Bureau of Yuhua District, Changsha City, introduced in detail the digitalization of education in Yuhua District, such as building a model school of smart campus, building an artificial intelligence laboratory, setting up a gold medal lecturer group of smart education, and cultivating "discipline+artificial intelligence" double-qualified teachers.
Huang Xu Guang, director of the subject education department of primary and secondary schools in the Education Technology and Resources Development Center of the Ministry of Education, interpreted and deployed the pilot work plan for the large-scale application of the "Central Library Artificial Intelligence Course", and introduced the specific measures of the Central Library from three aspects: selecting pilot areas (including pilot schools), collecting artificial intelligence education and teaching lessons in primary and secondary schools, and selecting artificial intelligence education trainers and training bases in primary and secondary schools, which gave guidance for the normal, large-scale and high-quality application of the "Central Library Artificial Intelligence Course" in all pilot schools. Sun Moxuan, editor of the Education Technology and Resources Development Center of the Ministry of Education (Central Audio-visual Education Center) and deputy head of the Working Group on Artificial Intelligence Education in Primary and Secondary Schools of the Central Audio-visual Education Center, read the list of pilot areas (including pilot schools) for large-scale application of the "Central Library Artificial Intelligence Course". Eighteen units, including Shazitang Tianhua Primary School in Yuhua District, Changsha City, became the first batch of pilot areas (pilot schools) for large-scale application of "Central Library Artificial Intelligence Course" in Hunan Province.
Long Jun, Dean of Big Data Research Institute of Central South University and Director of Hunan Intelligent Classroom and Education Big Data Research and Development Center, introduced the center’s educational social experiment work under artificial intelligence conditions in recent two years, actively explored the multi-unit joint promotion mechanism, built an artificial intelligence education standard system, organized experts to comprehensively review the first batch of experimental units of educational social experiments under artificial intelligence conditions in Hunan Province, held the first plenary work seminar of experimental units to further clarify the specific requirements of educational social experiment work under artificial intelligence conditions, and conducted in-depth investigations on the results of experimental areas and experimental schools; In order to fully display and promote the successful experience of the experimental area and experimental school in the integration and innovation of social practice of artificial intelligence education, the center carried out the exhibition and exchange activities of social practice achievements of artificial intelligence education in 2022, focusing on the typical cases of social experiments of artificial intelligence education; The center will continue to carry out cutting-edge scientific and technological research around smart classrooms and educational big data, promote key technological breakthroughs, organize technical product experiments, and build an intelligent, interactive and personalized future education system.
Shazitang Tianhua Primary School, as the first batch of pilot areas (schools) for the large-scale application of the "Central Library Artificial Intelligence Course", was awarded the "Hunan Postgraduate Training Teaching and Research Base". At the meeting, it was announced that the College of Education of Hunan University of Science and Technology was approved as the "Joint Training Base for Postgraduates in Hunan Province" and awarded the license.
The conference presented awards to the winners of the 2022 "Chinese Dream-Action with Me" series activities of the Education Technology and Resources Development Center of the Ministry of Education and the winners of the 2022 exhibition of educational social experiment results under the condition of artificial intelligence in Hunan Province.
At the end of the meeting, the leaders exchanged views, thanked the Education Technology and Resources Development Center of the Ministry of Education for their concern and support for Hunan’s education work, congratulated the award-winning works and units, and encouraged all experimental districts and schools to focus on the key work of educational digitalization, take advantage of the situation and achieve more fruitful results.
